Mr. Lim Siang Meng is a seasoned executive and strategic advisor with over 25 years of experience in M&A, strategic partnerships, FDI, venture capital, and infrastructure development, including smart cities and special economic zones.
He has held senior leadership roles at ENGIE Services Singapore, SEZAD in Oman, and Keppel Integrated Engineering, leading strategy, investment, partnerships, and corporate development across Asia and the Middle East. Experienced in board and committee governance, he has served as Board Secretary and Secretary to Executive and Audit Committees.
Fluent in English and Chinese, Mr. Lim holds an Executive MBA from Helsinki School of Economics, a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from NUS, and completed the Tsinghua Executive CEO Program.
Dr Kwa is the CTO of Agrimax. She leads the R&D, manufacturing and engineering teams and directs regulatory and technology roadmap of the Company.
Prior to joining Agrimax, Dr Kwa was in-charge of global regulatory affairs in a local public listed company whose business is in crop and animal nutrition and protection. Dr. Kwa also has substantial experience in IP management, having held senior positions in Exploit Technologies Pte Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of A*STAR, and the Industry and Technology Relations Office, NUS.
Dr Kwa holds a PhD degree in Botany from the NUS. Her area of research is in tissue culture and plant physiology and in terms of academic publications, Dr Kwa has ten international peer reviewed scientific papers to her credit.
Mr Ang is Chairman of the Board of Agrimax Pte Ltd. Mr Ang started his career at the Economic Development Board. He then joined DBS Bank at its inception in 1968 and pioneered its investment banking division. From 1974, Mr Ang was CEO of NSL (formerly NatSteel) until he retired in 2003, and stayed as its Executive Director until 2010.
Mr Ang has helmed some of Singapore’s biggest companies, bringing years of experience spanning the manufacturing, services and financial sectors. His current appointments include chairmanship of Sembcorp Industries and Global Logistics. Mr Ang sits on the board of GIC Private Limited and chairs its Investment Board.
Mr Ang holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Economics from the University of Hull.
Mr Mei is a Non-Executive Director of Agrimax. He is also Co-founder and CEO of GLP, a leading global investment manager specialising in logistics and related technology investments. Mr Mei has built GLP into one of the world's largest real estate and private equities fund manager, with over US$66 billion of assets under management. GLP continues to actively explore opportunities to grow the platform in new and existing markets.
Mr Mei is Chairman of Investment Committee of Eastern Bell Venture Capital and sits on various public and private boards. He is also the Investor and Board Member of Value Retail China, a company that specializes in the development and operation of luxury outlet shopping villages.
Mr Mei received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the School of Business, Indiana University, USA. He also graduated from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the School of Business and Management, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Mr Quek is a Non-Executive Director of Agrimax. He is also currently serving as the Executive Chairman and a substantial shareholder of listed Acma Ltd.
After graduation, Mr Quek did a stint in general insurance underwriting, then joined Ford Motor Company (Singapore) as a Financial Analyst. He then joined Plessey plc as a Regional Finance Director for 8 years before leading a management buyout of the Plessey telecoms and computer operations in South East Asia. He injected these businesses into Acma Ltd in a reverse takeover in 1990 where he has been Executive Chairman to date.
Mr Quek graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (Hons) from the then University of Singapore (NUS) and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Mr Zhou is a Non-Executive Director of Agrimax. He is also managing partner at Bits x Bites, a pioneer agrifood VC focusing on the most critical challenges in the Chinese food system. He leads new investment development, portfolio management, and serves on the boards of portfolio companies. Mojia Bio, Changing Bio and EA Vision are amongst the portfolios he is serving on the boards.
Joseph has 15 years of investment experience across both sell side and buy side. Joseph is a strong believer that biosciences and data sciences will drive agri-food industry innovations to improve yield gains, reduce resource demands, and produce better food.
Joseph has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth Business School.
Mr Lau is a Director of Agrimax. He has over 20 years of experience in private equity investments and was based in China for more than 15 years.
He was Partner and CIO of HOPU Investments, later serving as CEO and CIO. During his tenure, the capital under management grew from US$900 million to over US$10 billion across funds investing in financial services, technology, logistics, healthcare, and agri-tech.
Before HOPU, Mr. Lau was the Managing Director at Temasek International, where he led the firm’s China investments across key sectors, building Temasek’s China investment portfolio and strategic developments. He was instrumental in Temasek’s investments in promising companies, and has led numerous successful acquisitions and exits at both HOPU and Temasek.
Mr. Lau began his career at UOB, holding roles in commercial banking, venture investment, and fund management. He has held numerous board positions, including Co-Chairman of ARM China, Chairman of the HOPU-ARM Innovation Fund, and Director roles at GLP, BHG Retail REIT, and the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore.
He holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Nanyang Technological University.
